IN THE COMMUNITY

TABO is fortunate to have a strong service relationship with the City of Toronto basketball community. As an organized body of officials, we take pride in participating in the many events that unite basketball players of all ethnicities, gender, age, and skill levels.

​

Here are some of the leagues, tournaments, and locations where you may have seen our officials in action.

LEAGUES

MegaCity Basketball

Megacity Basketball is one of the premier basketball leagues in Canada. They create a positive environment where athletes can develop and share their love for the sport. They provide a unique experience & opportunity for players and communities to grow and flourish.

HoopDome

HoopDome is a state of the art, multi gymnasium basketball only facility.  HoopDome has become a destination spot for all basketball athletes, teams; leagues and tournaments. This is the centre for amateur basketball in Ontario, and operates 365 days a year.

BWT

Since 2006, BWT has created more value in the basketball market by developing professionally organized and managed programs that enhance the level of play of basketball in Toronto. BWT' since inception, is now the largest provider of basketball programs and services in Toronto.

TOURNAMENTS

FHC

The annual Father Henry Carr Early Bird PREP Classic, is a fall high school basketball tourney that features a dozen competitive teams around from Toronto and the surrounding Ontario region.  The Early Bird Classic continues to exceed expectations and proven to be a must-attend prep basketball tournament,

Bob Little's accomplishments on and off the floor set an example for his colleagues. The high standards he set continue to influence officiating in Toronto to this day

BioSteel-All-Canadian-Primary-Logo-2016.

The BioSteel All Canadian Basketball Games feature the top 24 male and female Canadian high school basketball players who are either Canadian-born or enrolled in a Canadian institution. The top 24 athletes come to Toronto to work with Canadian coaches and trainers in a series of events including on-and-off court training, practices and scrimmages.

TABO SPONSORED TOURNAMENT 

NAN COPP TOURNAMENT 

Nan was the president of the Board of Women's Officials. In her time, she was a role model and inspiration to young women who played and officiated basketball.

​

The Nan Copp Invitational is dedicated in honour of the late official and organizer of the women’s basketball games and official's development.

Crown League

The NIKE Crown League Tournament has a rich history of summer basketball in Toronto.  The highly charged tournament attracts a country-wide audience and some of Canada's top high school and collegiate players, along with professional and semi-pro talent from across North America.
